Ourfirstyear is a photoblog that looks into the lives of me and my new and wife. We were married on April 5, 2008 and everyday for the next year we took a photograph of a scene, object or event that captures the spirit of our new marriage.
The website was built in WordPress, because of the daily need for photograph updates. A number of plugins were also utilized which allow site visitors to comment on photos, rate their favorites, and display the top ranked photographs in an easily navigable manner.
